Day 11–Slow Cooker Pineapple-Pork Tacos

Ahhh…..Sunday. A day of rest for body and soul. If you are a ministry family, however, Sundays can be anything but restful! Around here, Sunday afternoons are spent taking long naps after church. Therefore, there is usually not a lot of time to get dinner prepared. I have decided to dedicate my Sunday meals to the wonderful kitchen appliance called the Crock Pot!

I have to say, this was the easiest dinner to make yet! All it took to provide the pulled pork (which was delightfully juicy and full of flavor) was literally to take it out of the package, put it in the crock pot, pour the taco seasoning over the meat, put the top on it and set the timer. Boom….9 hours later and I get this:

I’ve never had a pulled pork taco before, and this one was great! At first the family was hesitant because we are used to ground beef tacos, but they warmed up to it quickly after the first bite. Everyone rated this a good 4 stars.

There are no drawbacks to this recipe! Again, the easiest dinner yet. I will definitely make this again next year over and over. You gotta try this one!

I found this recipe here: http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/slow-cooker-pineapple-pork-tacos/edc6dc18-9c74-4775-873e-5eaa46a6a3dc?src=SH

5/5 family members would eat this again

I love the pulled pork/crock pot dishes for Sunday’s. It makes an incredibly easy meal with almost no clean up. I’ve used Caribbean Jerk or Jamaican Jerk after shredding and serve it on a bun. But I love this recipe idea and cannot wait to try it. Thanks so much for sharing!
