Barilla Fettuccine with Marinara, Basil Pesto, and Pine Nuts

Ingredients
- 1 box Barilla Fettuccine
- 1 jar Barilla Marinara sauce
- 6 TBSP olive oil
- 1 garlic clove
- 6 basil leaves
- 2 TBSP pine nuts
- 1/2 C Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
Step 1
Bring a large pot of water to boil.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, bring marinara sauce and 1/2 jar water to a simmer.
Step 3
In a blender, combine garlic, basil, cheese, pine nuts, salt and pepper, pulse for 15 seconds to make pesto. Slowly pour in the olive oil while pulsing to blend.
Step 4
Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and toss with the sauce.
Step 5
Remove from heat, add pesto; stir to combine and serve.
